Peking duck

Definition

A Chinese dish consisting of roasted duck skin, small pancakes, hoisin sauce and other ingredients.

Etymology

Calque from Chinese 北京烤鴨／北京烤鸭 (Běijīng kǎoyā). Same as Peking + duck.
