The study of leprosy, particularly (medicine) its diagnosis and treatment.

Etymology

From New Latin leprologia, from Medieval Latin leprōsia (“leprosy”) + -logia (“-logy”), from leprōsus (“leprous”) + -ia, from lepra (“leprosy”) + -ōsus (“-ose”), q.v. Equivalent to leprosy + -ology.
