Relating to the abdomen, or to the cavity of the abdomen.

Etymology

From Latin coeliacus, from Ancient Greek κοιλιακός (koiliakós), from κοιλία (koilía, “belly”). By surface analysis, coel- + -i- + -ac. Cognate with coelom.
