Condition in which a large proportion of spermatozoa produced in an ejaculate possess poor motility.

Etymology

From astheno- + zoospermia. By surface analysis, a- (“not”) + sthen- (“strength”) + -o- (“connecting vowel”) + zo- (“animal”) + -o- (“connecting vowel”) + sperm (“seed”) + -ia (“condition”).
